Personal Statement

As a competitive athlete I aspire to play college basketball where I can excel as a player and student.  I want to find a program where I  can be challenged and driven to win/succeed.  Not only on the court but also in life as I grow as a person during my college years.  Like my father who played division 1 basketball,

I want to be something bigger than myself,  I want to be part of a team.  I want to create lifelong bonds and memories to carry with me and help me become the best individual I can be.  In addition, basketball provides me the the physical outlet I need to face daily academic challenges so I maintain focus and excellence academically.  Basketball is the stepping stone to my future in the medical profession.  Through basketball, I can learn to be strong, confident yet caring leader.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
