Personal Statement

I can be defined by my passion to my sport and my commitment to being the best I can at whatever I do. This applies to me athletically, academically and spiritually. I give 100% to training and when on the field, I am there to do my best. I lead others by example and by word. I communicate what is happening on the field, encourage my teammates to be their best and I am respectful to umpires and other teams. I also do my best in competition. While I'd like to say I never make mistakes, that is not true. What I can say, and this is what makes me valuable, is that when I perform under my desired level, I do not allow a poor play or at bat to carry over to the rest of my game. I quickly adjust and move on. I am mentally strong.
