Hello, my name is Rusty VanWetzinga IV. I'm a 6'1ft, 220lbs junior at Pleasant Valley High School and average a 3.3 G.P.A . This season I finished as a 5(a) 1st Team All-State linebacker which is Iowa's biggest division. As a sophomore last year I earned 3rd Team All-State linebacker and Iowa's underclassman of the year which goes the most accomplished underclassman in the state of Iowa for football. I also participate in 3 other varsity sports such as, football, wrestling, track, and baseball for Pleasant Valley High School. I am currently coming into my third varsity season for wrestling and last year I was a state qualifier and this season I come in as a top 10 ranked wrestler. I was a varsity athlete as a freshman who played sophomores and started in some varsity football games. As a person I love to push myself and be surrounded with competition. Not only do I love to work hard for myself but I love to better the team by competing against each other. I know what it’s like to get coached up and learn from my mistakes due to my father being the head varsity football coach. Im trying to find the future college where I can compete and be successful in not just football but life as well. Thanks for reading about me,
Rusty VanWetzinga IV
