Personal Statement

I first got interested in golf while playing in the junior programs at our neighborhood golf course. I've learned a lot about myself through golf since then, including the mental toughness and strength that is needed to stay focused during a competitive round and the determination to improve everyday. These traits have not only made me a better golfer, but a better student and teammate. I take pride in the commitment that I put into the classroom. I am looking for a program that will not only challenge me as a golfer but also as student. I believe that I not only have the ability to compete for a competitive college team, but my work-ethic, determination, and toughness will allow me to make an immediate impact for a college program.
