My collegiate goals and aspirations are to play/excel at college football and get a high-quality education. I believe I have several great qualities that would make me an asset to any football program. First, I am a fierce competitor who always gives 110% effort and elevates the game of my teammates. Next, I place emphasis on being a student of the game. I feel that in addition to placing emphasis on being the best I can be physically; I genuinely believe that a football player should place equal emphasis on being mentally prepared for the game. Lastly, I have an extraordinarily strong bond with my teammates and coaches. No matter the sport, teams win together and lose together. I play every game to win but feel losing is an opportunity to learn. I learned along time ago that life is not easy, and life is not fair. My father passed away at a young age and my mother was not able to take care of us like we needed her to. I learned very quickly how to manage my responsibilities with school, sports, and helping take care of my sister. Eventually the state placed us with a loving family. Now that my sister and I are in a loving nurturing environment, I have been able to excel in school, in sports, and at life. I look forward to the challenge’s life places in front of me and will rise to any challenge!
