Ryan Hoover '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ryan Hoover. I have been playing soccer since 4 years old and hoping to continue my journey playing college ball. I attend St. Thomas Aquinas High school in Hammond, LA have played varsity since freshman year.  I have a 3.42 GPA and want to major in Zoology, Animal Science, or Environmental Science. I bring to my team a positive attitude regardless of the score. If we are down by two, my mentality never drops. I can play anywhere on the back line but am my best at center back. I believe that I can guard just about anybody I’m up against because I have patience, aggression, speed, physicality, sense of timing, and tackling ability. I enjoy being put to the test. I want to play with the best of the best. I have that urgency of winning the ball every time. I know I can matchup with your best because of my passion and love of the game of soccer.
