My name is AJ Maltese. I have been playing football since the 7th grade and before that I used to play flag football. I fell in love with the game of football mainly through my dad, who played all through high school and college and led me to enjoy playing the game so much. I want to play football in college and have a great college career. I intend to have a good education and major in physical therapy or chiropractics. I have become a better leader, person and a part of a brotherhood because of football. I have always been the last one to leave practice and the most vocal on the field. In the beginning of the season I did not do the best, but I dealt with adversity by seeing less snaps until an injury gave me another chance to prove myself, and I did. I ended up second on my team in tackles with 61, 48 solo, and second for tackles for loss with 7. I would like to play for a great program that can get the most out of my athletic and mental abilities.
