My goal is to play hockey at the collegiate level, preferably D1 but any level would be great. Check out https://mattbonsignore.com/
I bring additional value to my teams other then my hockey skills. I'm a team "cheerleader" providing positive feedback to my teammates on the bench during games especially during tough situations. I'm eager to continually develop my game and practice and play at full intensity. For me there's no difference between practice, a pickup game, and a championship final. I plan all at my fullest capability.
I'm different from many other players because I'm tall ... 6'7" but I couple that with skill and coordination that other tall players lack. I'm not just a big goon, but I'm also not afraid to be physical. My size is intimidating when coupled with physical play.
Academically, I'm a good student with a better than 4.0 GPA. Besides working hard to maintain my grades, I was selected for a highly competitive special magnet program for Performing and Visual Arts as a percussionist. As part of this program, I take additional courses in my selected art such as music theory, music performance, and other arts programs. These classes are taken as part of an extended academic school day adding 5 hours to my school week (not including concerts and other performances).
