2013 SEASON HONORS / AWARDS:
My name is Landon Reecher and I am a senior at Broadneck High School in Annapolis, Maryland. As a three year starter for the varsity football team, it is my goal to continue my love of playing football at the collegiate level. I hope to bring my relentless work ethic and dedication to a school and football program in order to help maximize my potential as a student-athlete. I sincerely appreciate your time as you review my qualifications as a student and player and look forward to working with you throughout this recruiting process.
STRENGTHS ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD: Tenacity, strength, power, quickness, agility, passion and attitude / Winning the battle at the line of scrimmage / Shutting down the opposing team’s run game in the middle of the field: To illustrate my lower body strength & Power, click here to see a short video of me pulling 1 truck & 1 car simultaneously up an incline (11,000 lbs. at a distance greater than 20 yards while bear crawling).
JUNIOR SEASON PERFORMANCE EVALUATION BY DONNIE ZIMMERMAN, NATIONAL SCOUTING DIRECTOR FOR NATIONAL PREPS: "Landon is a big, strong defensive lineman. He has the size to plug the gaps and require double teams. He moves well for his size, getting a good push off the snap. Possesses good hips and feet, and is able to re-direct to chase after ball carriers. He is a high energy player, never giving up on a play. Landon also shows good strength, using his hands well to shed blockers as well as an effective spin move. Shows the ability to read the play and react appropriately with a high football IQ. Overall Landon is an explosive, high motor d-lineman that has good size and a great upside". Donnie Zimmerman, Playmaker Recruiting Report NOTE: A "Different" Highlight Video, also from my Junior Season, but Produced by National Preps is the bottom video on this web-page, directly to your left.
FROM MY OFF-SEASON D-LINE INSTRUCTOR “Teams are recognizing you and are double and triple teaming you essentially all game. This is the highest form of respect for a defensive tackle because they are conceding that they have no one who can block you”. Pete Haviland-Eduah, Perfect Performance Defensive Line Academy Coach
