Jonathan Lamb '22 Recruiting Profile

Jonathan Lamb, why is he the best candidate for your team? First I am a student athlete and  a strong minded player that you need at your linebacker position that can conduct and lead the team and is accountable in the class and on the field. Academically you will never have to worry I am on top of my work at all times and am very vestile joining multiple groups like the chess club, Tv production, Debate club, IT academy, and the environmental Studies club. I am always watching film and growing up I started to understand the difference between liking a sport and understanding that sport. As for football I’ve been working on my craft and teaching myself a lot of new concepts and situations so when I see those same formations and lineups on the field. I can slow it down and make the play. This was the understanding and difference between a spectator and a playmaker.  My love and passion for the game is something that will make a difference in the locker room and on the field, energy is key. You have to want to do it, not because your just given the opportunity.  My family are like my backbone supporting through all of my trials and tribulations. The game football has taught me a lot over the pass 12 years one thing being responsibility is key, everyone on the has a role and job to do and if one person doesn't do their job then everything falls apart so everyone must be responsible and accountable for everything they do.  My academic goals for college are to be at the top of my class especially in the IT and computer science field and by the time I get my bachelors degree I can get a internship with a company as software engineer. My  collegiate goals for sports are to  dominate and dominate with my team,all hats to the ball. Our defense will be feared. I will win a championship  with any team I am part of.
