Personal Statement

I am the Kicker on the Varsity football team for Howard High School. I started my interest in football kicking when I transitioned from 6 years of playing soccer, and my new football coach at the time decided to try me at kicker. Since then, I have trained with professionals and improved greatly at kicking in general. In college, I believe that academics are the most important thing, but I will do anything my coach ever requires of me. I have been very coachable throughout my career in football, soccer, basketball, and martial arts, but I have decided to focus on football. I am also a Boy Scout and plan on reaching the rank of Eagle one day. I am proud to have been promoted to my high school Varsity team for my Sophomore year at Howard High School. In the spring, I am currently on the Howard Track & Field Team as a thrower. I was also accepted to the G/T Independent Research Program for Sophomore year. Grade 9 was a successful academic year making honor roll and earning a weighted GPA of 4.07

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
