I have been playing tennis since I was 3 years old. Tennis has not only been one of the biggest inspirations, but one of the biggest drives in my life. Tennis has been a way for me to feel like the best version of myself. It is something I would love to do throughout the rest of my life.
Having been playing for 14 years, I have had many years to gather valuable techniques and controls over my game. I also am very privileged to have a tennis coach as a mother, so whenever I need to practice I always have a partner. I have been a varsity started on my team since I started High School. Tennis has not only improved my athletic abilities, but my academic abilities as well. I have been able to advance to AP, G/T, and Honors classes with the determination and organizational skills I learned during tennis.
In high school, I not only found a deeper passion in tennis, but also in biology and chemistry. My science classes have alway been a huge part of my life, and during high school, I have been able to further my knowledge and my academic abilities in my favorite classes, science and math. Tennis had taught me that I can really work hard and learn anything if I am passionate, this has been seen inside of my academic and athletic achievements.
