Matt Morin '13 Recruiting Profile

I am 6"1', 190 lbs., I run a 5.1 40-yard-dash, bench 250, and squat 275 for 3 or 4 reps. I havebeen captain of my football team for three years (freshman this year and youth the other two years). I am also the hardest worker you'll ever meet. I get up in early in the morning to run and work on my technique, then I spend half my study hall periods in the film room and the other half in the library, and I'm in the weight room till at least 7:30 after practice every day. It has also been my dream to play college football ever since I was about four years old, and that being a dream is an extreme understatement. Obsession is more fitting. I am willing to do anything and everything to accomplish it. I would love to lay college football anywhere really because I like warm weather but I'm also from New England so I don't mind the cold at all. I actually like snowy night game atmospheres the best. I would love to play college football anwhere really. The size of the school isn't a huge factor either just as long as there is a great football atmosphere and good academic programs. Also Division 1 is what I am aiming for and is my goal I would be more than ectatic to play at the division 1aa, 2, or 3 levels either because people have made it to the pros from those divisions too. My family is also in quite a financial strap right now due to the terrible economy so financial aid would be needed. I would like to study international law enforcement because I would really like to become an InterPol agent one day. My goals in college are to just be the best player I can be because I know that I have what it takes to play in college but I also know that I have a lot of work to do but I know for a fact that with my heart, drive, determination, and work ethic that if you put me in a good setting that I will grow into a great player.
