Michael Emery '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'3", 260lbs who is a member of the Class of 2021 at Mary Lyon Pilot High School in Brighton, MA. I have a 2.40 GPA. My goal is to play college football at a high level. I am looking for a collegiate experience that will allow me to achieve, grow and, most importantly, prepare me for life beyond the football field.

I have been playing offensive linemen since the age of sixteen and enjoy all facets of the position. My strengths are leadership, accountbility, aggresiveness and a great work ethic. While people see me as soft and heartless at first glance, I also have a competitive fire that drives me towards being the best at my position. My goals for the upcoming off season are to continue to add muscle, get faster, and develop not only physically but also cognitively. 

I would like to go to a school where I can find a healthy balance between academics and football. I wish to pursue a computer engineering major to follow in the steps of my dad. On the field, I endeavor to be a dynamic player who positively influences the team. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that I always represent my team, coaches, and school. 

I am a coachable, driven, lead by example type of prospect who holds himself to a very high standard. I want to be the type of linemen that everybody wants and to be the best Left Tackle at any level that I play at.
