Playing for my country on the 2018 USA Select U-18 Team at AT&T Stadium was the highlight of my football career. It was an honor to be selected to represent my country playing a sport I love with some of the most incredibly talented athletes in the country. It was an experience I will carry with me for the rest of my life. However, I believe I developed more as a leader and as a football player during my sophomore year when we lost in the playoffs and didn’t make it to the state championship. Although it was a disappointing experience it made me realize that I needed to push myself and my teammates to work even harder to achieve our goal of a state championship. I have been playing football since I was seven years old and have been fortunate enough to be on some very successful teams over the years but I feel I have learned more about myself and life during the difficult seasons where success was allusive. Playing sports I have learned the intrinsic value of hard work, leadership, sacrifice and teamwork. At the next level I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me both athletically as well as academically. As a three sport athlete I believe I not only have the talent to compete, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an impact on a college program.
