Football has been a huge part of my life; my father, Craig Parson didn't stop playing until he made it to the NFL a part of the Denver Broncos. My oldest brother CJ played for North Eastern, then transferred to Boston College being moved from a defensive end to a tight end; due to having his position change he proved his talent and earned a starting tight end position his junior year, along with his senior year. CJ finished his football career with a few division 1 NCAA touchdowns, receptions, and dozens of dozens key blocks for his team. Ending up being a key player for the Boston College Eagles. My other brother Joey is only a year and a half older than me so ever since I have been in high school we have been playing football side by side with each other; both me and my brother Joe were called up to play with the varsity squad as incoming freshman. Joe and I saw playing time our sophomore year, a senior and I would rotate an equal amount throughout each game. Later each of us earned our starting spots as Juniors, Joe starting as a offensive tackle, and this year I was moved to starting left defensive end opposite of Joseph Gaziano on my right, along with starting offensive guard towards the start of the season but caused by missing practices and a game I was moved to second string on offense. This year was my brothers final year playing high school football as a senior he started both as a offensive tackle and a defensive guard. There is no better feeling then being able to play along side your brothers, related by blood or brothers foraged through the team. I saw how much all of the seniors i was close with hated the thought of it being their last time playing together on our high school team, and for many being the last time they would play football. If I was given the chance to after high school I would push myself to become a better athlete, football player, and teammate. I know I can improve on many skills, but I also know that I am capable of playing at the next level. Half way through the season I had a season ending hamstring injury, starting in every single game prior to the injury improved my skills as an athlete drastically i only wish I was capable to finish out the season with my team, finally gaining the D1 State Championship title along with being ranked 92 nationally and 1 in Massachusetts. Each year my strength, speed, and skill improves drastically to the point that my last 3 years playing high school football; each year i come out looking like a totally different person and athlete in general due to improved abilities, size, speed, strength, and skills caused from hard work in the off season, proper conditioning speed and strength, attending clinics, camps, having a strict diet that provides me with the best nutrition to fit my training along with good health management, and proper recovery training and physical therapy. I am making it one of my goals in the off season to come back a completely new and improved athlete, faster, quicker, stronger, bigger, and smarter then I was this year. I assure you there is few that are dedicated, and determined to work as hard or to the same intensity as me. Football is a year round sport, 365 days of non stop dedication and training; each day determined to better yourself from the days before.
