Ashton Goodson '20 Recruiting Profile

I have always loved sports in general. But for me football was different. Every since I was little my dream was to be in the NFL but as I got older i realized how slim my chances were. Now I am constantly in football mode. I wanna play at the next level and I'm going to work until I get it. I am not the biggest or fastest or most athletic guy on the field and far from the strongest but what helps me succeed is the way I play. I play how the game is meant. I can't overpower or outrun anyone so when realized that I had to start using my head. My football IQ has always been high and I just outsmart the other team. I know how to hit someone and I'm not afraid to get in there and lay some hits. I'll never back down from a challenge and I give this game my all. Being the small guy has made me a target and I've been overlooked a lot and that's what keeps me going. Playing with that extra chip on my shoulder to earn some respect.
