Personal Statement

I've always been a competitive athlete, first in soccer and snocross, then later also in football. I thrive on the strategic challenges sports demand; something I've learned well while playing running back and linebacker, as well as our team's kicker and punter. To succeed in sports at a competitive level, I had to overcome severe asthma and severe food allergies as a child; often needing to be hospitalized. This taught me to dig deep and push even harder to excel, regardless of any obstacles. As a high school athlete, I enjoy the strategic, fast-play sport of football, and the year round conditioning necessary to be in top form at any given time. I tend to excel when under pressure, and continual hard work and determination keep me ready for those high pressure situations that arise often during a game.

I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. My ability to perform well under high pressure, along with my excellent work ethic and commitment to team work will allow me to make an immediate impact on your program.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
