My name in Carson Rakers. Class of 2024. Going into college, my goals are to excel in the classroom as well as on the football field. The things that I believe separate me from other athletes is my dedication to my teammates and my personal goals. In my four years of high school, I worked hard in the classroom to maintain a 3.5 GPA while being a three-sport athlete. I believe that I have always been a good leader on and off the field. I work hard to encourage my teammates when needed and lead them by example with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. I received my high school's "Sportsmanship Athlete" award this fall. On the field, I am coachable. I communicate with coaches and teammates and follow through on my assignments. I learn from my mistakes and strive to make improvements on my performance. I have lived through the pain and disappointment of tearing my ALC during the second game of my Junior year. I worked hard to overcome the obstacles that I faced during my road to recovery and prepared myself mentally and physically for my senior year of football. I was nominated by my teammates as a co-captain and ended my senior year leading my team in tackles and being nominated to the Second Team All-Conference. I know that I can make a positive impact on any team because of the hard work, preparation, and dedication I will bring to everything that I do.
