Nick Riley '18 Recruiting Profile

Band of Cousins and Band of Brothers, that is what my high school football experience has been. My teammates have become like brothers, but I am fortunate because I have been able to play ball with my cousins.  As cousins we push each other further and have each others backs no matter what.  I am looking for that experience in college football. I know that my cousins will not be there but I am looking for a band of brothers who are as close as my family. I have made friends from both sides of the tracks. Some very wealthy and some not. I have learned that the value of a person does not come from what they have. I also see from watching their struggles when they do not have money, that is not where I want to be. 

I am not the traditional student that loves school but I know that it will take me farther than on my own. I have a lot of things to learn in the class room and on the football field. I am confident in my ability to make a difference on the field but I also know I still have things to learn to be a better player.  I am proud of my accomplishments in football. Those accomplishments have not been just handed to me. I worked for my position and my time on the field.  When I play I make the most out of every opportunity on the field to win for my brothers, my cousins and myself.
