My name is Will Faulconer. I'm a 2023 Osage High School Summa Cum Laude graduate. I’m 18, 6’2, 170 lbs forward/striker. I made the MSHSAA Record Book ranking 27th in state for career goals and 12th in state for fastest goal scored, Academic All-State, All-State Offensive Player of the Year, and 1st Team All-State as well as my varsity team's MVP, POY and All-Academic Team Athlete of the Year. I was team captain and the top scorer on my varsity team the past two years and my school's current record holder for most goals scored in a season (38).
I'm a very versatile player and can be an asset both offensively and defensively. I have been complemented by coaches for my playing style and vision, performance, finishing ability and unselfishness on the field.
At 18 games into my senior season, I beat my high school's record for most goals scored in a season. In our game against Capital City, I scored a goal in the first 17 seconds of the start of the game. I finished the season scoring 38 goals w/ 9 assists. My team is 2022 District Champions. I was also awarded 2022 First Team All-District team and 2022 All-District Attacking Player Of The Year. I also made the 2022 All Region Team, awarded 2022 All Region Offensive Player of the Year as well as 2022 All-State Offensive Player of the Year and 2022 All-State 1st Team.
My junior year I made 2021 First Team All-District Athlete and First Team All-District Offensive POY for C2D5 high school varsity soccer. I also won the following 2021 awards: All-Academic Team, Osage Offensive Player Of The Year, MVP and Mr. Hustle. I dual sported with XC and was awarded MVP award and Academic All-State Honors. I was also the top scorer on my team with 23 goals and 7 assists.
I’m fast and have excellent endurance. I ran the Bridge & Dam 10K Run on 3.27.21 and was awarded Overall Race Winner and the 2021 course record holder with a time of 38:48 (6:14 pace). I can easily move up and down the field creating combination plays. I can serve a cross pass that is driven and connect the majority of my passes. I’m comfortable with the ball and with using both feet as well. I’ve been told by my coaches that I have the ability to read the game and the vision to see and make necessary passes needed to advance or switch the field play. I'm looking for a college that is a great fit for me both athletically as well as academically. My accumulative GPA is 4.06.
