Owen Light '21 Recruiting Profile

    I have always had a passion for sports, I have been playing competitively since I was six years old. I have been on traveling basketball, soccer, and even baseball teams, but their was always one sport that stuck out for me and that was football. I am a student of the game and I think that is a big factor in my life now. My physical mindset is to always to give a 110% to anything that I do. I am a very coachable player and I bring a leadership quality to the table unlike any other player. I would never ask a teammate to do anything I wouldn't do myself.  My thinking is that if you inspire your teammates by believing in them, that instills a bond of trust which will make a team unbreakable. I understand that playing at a collegiate level is a huge commitment both on the field and in the classroom, but I am willing to make any and all sacrifices in which can secure my future.
