Personal Statement

As a collegiate student-athlete,  my goal is to to start on the football team as a kicker and/or punter earlier in my career while simultaneously excelling academically.   I believe in making strong connections and building trust with my teammates and coaches which, I believe strengthens teamwork and leads to a winning team.   I would be a good candidate for your because of my determination to be a successful student-athlete, my ability to persevere, and my exemplary sportsmanship which benefits both my teammates and me. I am different from other recruits because I am able to take control of situations, particularly under pressure, and lead those around me to succeed.   As an athlete, I am willing to work individually as well and put in the extra hours to benefit the outcome of the entire team.  Lastly and most importantly, I turn to God and both my family and my football family for support and have learned that with hard work, motivation, and perseverance, academic and athletic success will follow.
