January 2020Personal Statement
I am an Eagle Scout and know about leadership on and off of the soccer field. I like the link my life together like a puzzle. So for my Eagle Scout project and lead over 25 scouts and parents to build 5 picnic tables and 5 benches for the Georgetown Texas Soccer Association where I started playing soccer at age 4. Soccer has always been a part of my life and I can not imagine college life without soccer. Academically, I like to plan and build, so engineering fits me well. I like math and science and love hands-on lab challenges.
Being a Center Back allows me to see what is happening on the entire field. I talk to all of the players about the game dynamics and how we can improve. Especially the defensive line, I take the organization of the line as my personal charge. I have played every position on the field and have played Center Back for the last 3 years and have found the love of stopping the competition from doing what they want to do. I disrupt their plans and execution. I am a beast!
