Sawyer Shelmerdine '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sawyer Shelmerdine and I play for Seeley-Swan High School in Seeley Lake, Montana. I've always dreamed of playing at a higher level and I'm willing to give it my all to get there. Whether it's NAIA or Division 1, I love football so I'll work to be my best and do the best for my team. I've spent my sports career dedicated to football, even when competing in other sports. I give it my all during practice, in the game, and in the classroom. During the off-season, I set up drills over my yard to better myself and to get better for my team. I'm the team captain and I am always looking for ways I could be better and help others succeed. Along with hard work and dedication, also comes the responsibility aspect. I've never missed a high school football practice ever, even when I was injured because I am there to learn and better myself and give my team support. I received the National Burlsworth Character Award for football this past year. Thank you for your time, and take care.
