Mario Escobar '24 Recruiting Profile

I'm a junior in high school at Meridian High, Daykin, NE.  We are a small school, 6-man football, but it's also taught me to be diverse in all football positions.  Kicking and being a wide receiver are my favorite positions, kicking is what I'm most interested in.  I spend extra time lifting weights and also play other sports such as basketball, track, and summer baseball.  

My aspirations are to continue my career in a sport I love, and be the first in my family to be a college athlete.  I value teamwork, being coachable, and having fun with my team.  What makes me stand out is that I can play any position, as I've been well versed in both offense and defense.  Academics are not my strongest suit, but that mostly because of my dedication to athletics.  I appreciate the opportunity to be looked at as a potential college football athlete for the state of Nebraska.
