My name is Zach Hodge and I play cornerback and wide receiver for Kearsarge Regional High School Varsity football team, in Sutton, NH. I began playing football just three years ago for a youth football team, which was great experience since our team won the New Hampshire State Championship. As a high school freshman I was called up to varsity and though I did not see much game time I worked hard, watched a lot of film and hit the weight room. All off-season, I worked on drills, cardio and weight lifting, trying to improve myself and become a better player and teammate. My off-season hard worked paid off, as I became a starting cornerback and wide receiver, my sophomore year. Even though this was a great accomplishment, I wanted more, I wanted to win games. Unfortunately our team had a very disappointing 2019 season, but that did not discourage me, I was relentless in my efforts to improve my game. This past summer I worked ten hours day for a landscaping company and then did 2 hour of training, either football drills, running/cardio and/or weight lifting. As I entered my junior year I was pumped to be a real asset for the team, but then Covid hit and our season was cancelled. Again I did not let that stop me, I have continued with my training and I am organizing workouts with some of my teammates. I am hard working, coachable, a quick learner and I am driven to be the best I can be for the team, I hope you will consider me for your football program.
