For the past year and a half, I've been attending Bergen Catholic High School. Excelling in sports and academics, most people would describe me as dedicated and hardworking because of this. Born and raised in the small town of Gladstone NJ, I made the choice to attend a school that was an hour away from the things I knew and the friends I had. Most the people from my town called it ridiculous, saying how it was a pointless endeavor and that I couldn't make it in such a high-pressure environment. Ignoring them and taking the risk, I soon realized that I was more than able to handle myself. Getting recognized as a freshman for my work ethic, which continued into Sophmore year. Leading to lots of playing time on Varsity, even starting for games such as the Archbishop Wood game. Leaving my blood, sweat, and tears on the field each time I stepped foot on the turf. Keeping a high grade-point-average in all honors classes, with one AP course I take (only being one due to the fact we are only allowed to take one AP class our sophomore year). Whether it's the classroom, the football field, or the wrestling mat, I give it the utmost effort.
