Jake Lindskog '23 Recruiting Profile

Football defines me. I don’t know if it is my skills and aptitude for the sport, the cooperative aspect of game play, or just my love for the game, but football is my passion. My ability to get along with all people from my coaches, to my teachers, to my fellow teammates – even opposing players have allowed me to mature and develop. My strong focus and self-discipline allows me to be coachable and take constructive criticism, therefore further enhancing my skills. I’ve been considered and respected as a leader on all teams, both travel and school ball. Thus, making JV as an eighth grader affirmed my perseverance, mental stamina, and determination to be successful. In addition, football correlates to my college career goal of engineering, where hard work, discipline, and strength of character will be needed to be successful.
