Personal Statement

I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears, and sweat. -Winston Churchill.

My name is Noah Rattmer and I will be the best decision your organization will ever make.  If this comes across as a bold statement, it is. If it appears that I'm being cocky, that would be a misinterpretation.  It is confidence that is forged through hard work, high expectations, dedication, athletic ability, and pure heart.

I could tell you about being named Captain of the team or the four school records I set as freshman.  I could elaborate on the hundreds of hours I spent with Quarterback Speciality coaches, or with various speed and agility gyms.  Or, even mention the stats I accumulated after just one year of HS Football, throwing 20 TD's in just 8 games.  But you hear about those kinds of things every day and with virtualy every personal statement you read.  But, what makes me different?

I am someone who gives every ounce of my attention and effort not only on the football field, but also in the classroom.  While taking AP classes, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA and I am a member of the National Junior Honor Society.  I have been a peer leader to not only my fellow teammates, but also to my fellow students within Longwood High School.  I'm someone who strongly believes in a sense of community and I make myself available to give back to those who have supported me.  When I am not on the varsity practice field or in the weight room, I am volunteering with the Longwood Youth Football Organization mentoring the future of Longwood football.

I live my life based on the Longwood Football motto of Pride, Spirit, and Heart.

Pride in my school, my team, and my community.

Spirit as a leader and a role model for future Longwood generations.

Heart in that with me, you get 100% of everything that I am.  There is no halfway, it's all of me, all of the time.  I look forward to meeting you and showing you that I am not just hype, I am someone who is true to my word.

Thank you for your consideration.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
