Personal Statement

 www.jordanmull.com

I've been playing organized football since I was first given the opportunity in 2nd grade. I've now been playing ever since. I spent 5 years in Pop Warner. Since then, I've played at A-P-W Middle School & High School.

As far as positions go, I've played quarterback (4yrs), running back (4yrs), wide receiver, defensive end (2yrs), middle and strong-side linebacker (2yrs), corner (3yrs), safety (1yr), punter (7yrs), kicker (7yrs), and punt/kick returner (6yrs) in games. Out of offense and defense, my favorite side of the ball is offense because you get to hit while scoring as opposed to hitting to prevent it. My favorite position is running back because of the physicality and speed needed in the position. Also, it's fun to watch the play develop and make decisions on it as I'm running through it.

Outside of football, I've also played soccer for 7 years, baseball for 6 years, basketball for 5 years, and track for 4 years. In track, I hold the modified record for the 200 meter dash as well as being tied for the modified high jump record. Out of all the sports I play, football is definitely my favorite because it's a high speed collision sport, there are various playing styles, and every game is greatly different.

Now, outside of sports in general, I have always gotten grades around 90+. This past year, I started to slip up on grades, but, when I realized they were dropping, I started to work a little harder to raise them to what they'd previously been. Almost every marking period in the past 3 years, I've gotten either Honor Roll, High Honor Roll, or Principle's List (award for highest grades). I have rarely ever had any disciplinary issues, and, especially with the new football contract at my school, I don't see myself having anymore. I have committed to trying my hardest to continue raising my grades throughout my schooling.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
