I’m a humble kid. I love being active and playing sports. I’m not the one to back down from a hard challenge or task that is asked of me. I don’t believe in being stronger than my teammates because as a team we are only as good as are weakest guy. When my friends ask me “why I work too hard” my response is “ I don’t do this for myself but for my family and for the future of this school and sports programs”. I may be shorter than all the other athletes on a team but I’m not afraid to meet them half way on the field or wrestling mats. I’ve been wrestling since 7th grade,I went to sectionals as a freshman for wrestling and plan on going back to sectionals and eventually going to states and competing at states and winning states. I run track, recently this year I was put in the pentathlon, track coaches saw potential in me going to sectionals and states in the future for pentathlon and I didn’t back down from that goal. Competing on a high level like has always gave me hunger to be better than the last person that’s played my position, wrestled in my weight class or ran in these events. But the events I run during regular track meets are 200m dash, long jump(my favorite),shotput and 110 hurdles. Offseason training is just as important as seasonal work to me, I don’t believe that just working during the season will make me better. My wrestling coach, track coaches and football coaches can give you their personal point of view on my work effort and personality. Thank you very much. I’d love to play for any D1 college just give me the opportunity to show you how I work please.
