I am a hard working leader and live by the motto that "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard." I started playing varsity as a 14 year old sophomore after a successful year as the only freshman JV captain in my schools history. I was selected amongst my peers. I worked hard and won a starting position against kids much older and bigger then me. Never turning my back to a challenge, I worked hard and had a great season as saftey, long snapper and back up Qb. My junior year our team was moved up to a much harder division. We played hard and never gave up even though the teams we played were out of our league. I plan on returning in my senior year and anticipate being one of the captains and starting QB. I learned hard work and perseverance pay off.
My goals for the future is to continue work hard and get better every day, in the class room and on the field ( football, track & lacrosse). It would be a privilege to play college football. I feel I would be an asset to any team where I would make an immediate impact.
Thanks,
