I grew up in the suburbs just 30 minutes north of New York City. Many things have helped me become the young man who I am today, but the most impactful is my family, both my blood family and the numerous ‘Aunts”, “Uncles” and “Cousins” that have adopted me, while they aren’t blood relatives, they look out for me all the same. They have taught me a lot, they taught me values, academic performance is important, keep promises, be helpful to others and the truth is the only answer. The game of football has also help shape who I have become, it has taught me to never give up, try your hardest and that if you work hard enough you goals can be achieved.
I first fell in love with the game of football at a young age, my Dad, like many Dads, watches a lot of football, and when I was very young I guess football intrigued me the most, my parents tell me how when I was very little, while doing my thing and a game was on, I would stop whatever I was up to and throw my hands up like the referee whenever someone in the house screamed touchdown. As I grew older football was the sport I loved the most, the entire week I couldn’t wait for the upcoming games on Sunday. As soon as I had the chance to play flag football I jumped to the opportunity, and that’s where the journey begins... ..there is a lot more to the story, and hopefully a lot more to come. Feel free to reach out to me to hear more or help me finish the next few chapters.
