My name is Kelby Wright. I am a senior this year, on track for a 2022 graduation year. I am a two-sport athlete at Union Pines High School in Carthage, NC-- VIKINGS Basketball and Football. Currently, I am 6’5”, weigh 190#. I am looking to play either sport in college. Besides school athletics, I also have been involved in Navy JRTOC and was working earlier this year at Clean Eatz.
This is my third year playing Varsity football for Union Pines High school. I am a WIDE RECEIVER/ SAFETY/ CORNER. Our football season last year was cut short and this year as well as because of the pandemic.
I was a huge contributor to our Varsity Basketball team’s winning record of 7-4 last year. I made All Conference First Team and was runner up Player of the Year. As a SMALL FORWARD, I averaged 13.4 Points per game; 4.4 Rebounds per games; 2 Steals, Blocks and Assists per game. I shot 46% from the field.
I am passionate about playing college athletics . I plan to study sports medicine, physical therapy, or some other major along those lines.
2020 and 2021 season’s football and basketball highlights can be viewed on my social media accounts. My hudl account is https://www.hudl.com/profile/15516456 and my Twitter handle is @wright_kelby .
Both my basketball and football coaches would be grateful to talk to you about my abilities. Their contact info is: Coach Nick Boney (BB) 919-332-4071 [email protected] or Coach Jason Trousdale (FB) 315-416-4616 or [email protected].
I look forward to continuing a conversation with you about my future in collegiate athletics.
