First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to even review my profile, I am sincerely excited about whatever opportunity may flow abundantly in and through my space. I am looking forward to working and playing for a coach/university that care about me, my safety, and supports what's best for us as men. I want to play for a coach who has discipline when it comes to our success in life (that which is similar to coach 'K' of DUKE University). The staff wants all the players to be successful and they will do what they can to make sure when we have the necessary tools to complete our tenure at the university. When that times comes we have something that we can be proud of, things like: friendships, experiences, championships, and maybe a few personal accolades.
What makes me a good candidate: Well, personally I want to continue to grow as an athlete. I want to be the best, so that means I have to go up against the best in order for me to grow. I must have the right mindset to become bigger, faster, quicker, and stronger. I would like to come into a situation (team environment where as a freshman I can immediately add value to the program). But if the situation calls for me to play a role until my time comes, then that is what I will do.
I am coachable, I listen and I learn, I am respectful and get along with people. I already have a commitment to myself and my family that I live by: to always uphold MY BRAND. Whatever university I select my family and I will simply incorporate that universities brand into what we already do today. I commit to NOT bring shame or dishonor to the university in any form or fashion and where I can be a leader, a mentor, a friend, where I can add to anyone in and outside our environment I will do my best to be that individual.
Thanks,
Tristen Roundtree
