I had always played backyard football growing up, but when I really became interested in the sport of football was my 7th grade year of middle school. I was by far the biggest kid out there. That’s what motivated me to start playing to begin with. I constantly heard “you are too big not to play.” It was when I put on pads for the first time and took the field for a game that I realized what I could be and do on that field. I quickly realized that I could motivate others, develop into a leader, and become a part of a team. I’ve been blessed to be a part of a team that since our 7th grade year we have gone 34-3. We have now been back to back JV Conference Champs and moved up to the Varsity Level, where we lost in the third round of playoffs this year.
I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I take pride in my academics as I’ve maintained a 4.3 GPA my first two years of high school.
In my spare time I enjoy being active whether it be playing baseball, playing basketball, and going fishing. I believe I not only have the size, but also the work ethic, and determination to compete at college level, just as I have in high school. I’m ready to open the next chapter of my future, learn and grow.
