Dawson Brown '20 Recruiting Profile

As a three year Varsity starter for Hough High School, I've grown as both a leader and as a player.  Each year has had it’s moments, it’s setbacks, it’s lessons, and it’s accomplishments.  Without a doubt, football has changed my life. It’s made me a better student, more focused and driven.  It’s given me confidence as a young man, I face some of the biggest and baddest defensive players each and every week at my Center position.  My coaches never have an issue in the middle of our O-Line, I typically do my job very workman like.  I am an excellent pass blocker and run blocker. I practice my craft every offseason and I take pride in not giving my coaches anything to talk about.  I am the quiet leader on my line, I’m the one keeping my teammates from taking scuffles too far, but I’m also the one leading them by example.  I’m the most tenured on the Hough o-line as well and I’m really enjoying my Senior season. 

If you are looking for a technique driven, tough and accurate Center, that is reliable under pressure, and faces some of the toughest tackles in NC week-in-and-week-out - I’m your guy. 

I am 6’1” and 302 lbs, but I’m still growing.  I am incredibly consistent and I take pride in constantly improving.
