Cole Parrish '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cole Parrish.  Currently, I am a Senior at South Granville High School in Creedmoor, NC. I am 6'2" and 265 lbs. I am a motivated student and athlete. Academics are top priority and I have maintained a 4.3 GPA in all honors and AP courses while participating in two sports. Football is my passion.  Nobody has ever described my desire for football better than Darius Rucker, a musician.  He was quoted as saying, "There are only two sport seasons, football and waiting for football".  For me, this sums up my feelings as well.  I spend every moment either playing football or preparing for the upcoming season by lifting weights, reviewing film from previous years, and trying to get bigger, stronger and faster.  I never miss an off season workout session and strive each year to be better than I was was the year before.   I was moved to our school's varsity team at the end of my freshman year.  As a sophomore, I played varsity and made First Team All Conference. My greatest aspiration is to be able to play football in college.  I made this a goal for myself many years ago and I am motivated to fulfill this dream!  I desire to play and make a difference to a college team at the highest possible level. I would love to play for a school that can help me achieve my academic goals as well.  I haven't decided on a major, but I am leaning towards the medical field. I am excited about the possibility of recruitment and look forward to meeting new people and being introduced to great academic institutions through this process.
