Personal Statement

URGENT NEWS! Randy Schroeder has just been named to the 2012 NUC All American team and will play in the senior game on December 22nd in Myrtle Beach, NC.

I am a quarterback for Southlake Christian Academy in Huntersville, North Carolina.  I have always loved to play the game of football and have started quarterback every year I have played.  I currently hold a 3.5 GPA and aspire to maintain a high academic standard.  I wish to play football for as long as I can.

I also have a heart to serve, as I have participated in many community service projects.  With more then 300 communitiy service hours logged, I am on track to recieve the Gold Congressional Medal of Honor before I graduate high school.  Also, I am involved in an annual benifit concert called Ghana Rock, which has raised close to $100,000 in two years.  The event is put on completely by eight teenagers, of which I am one of them.  The money is given to an orphanage in Africa, which takes child slaves out of bondage and places them in a loving environment.  The children are given an education as well.

Football and service are two things that I greatly enjoy.

Awards and Activities

  • AwardsWill have Gold Congressional Medal of Honor by spring of 2013.
  • Activitieswww.ghanarock.com. I volunteer throughout my community and am working toward the Gold Congressional Medal of Honor Award. I already have a bronze medal in community service. I along with some other high school students started an annual benefit concert in which last year we raised $40K to free children from slavery in Ghana Africa. I and a group of other teenagers started and planned the entire event. I am a part of this great organization again this year. Serving the community is extremely important because it make me realize how blessed I am. In addition it is great to help people and feel like I am making a difference. , Junior Eagles football - volunteer Mooresville Soup Kitchen-volunteer

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
