Zachary Price '12 Recruiting Profile

2011-2012 Metro 4a All Conference. I am a senior from East Forsyth High School in Kernersville, North Carolina which participates in the highest football division within North Carolina.  I work diligently off the field as well as inside the classroom.  Playing football has been a passion of mine since my Pop Warner days when I began to improve my skills through the participation of local sponsored NFL "JPD" camps.  During my off-seasons, I have been attending summer camps since I was 12 and have been involved in various sports performance training activities. 

My high school career reflects that I have been a versatile defensive player playing multiple positions.  A summary of my high school career is as follows: 

Freshman:  JV: OLB and DE
Sophmore: JV: OLB and NG.  Team Captain.  Moved up to Varsity mid season.  Started at NG the remaining 5 games of the Varsity season. 
Junior: DT and DE.  Total credit tackles were 54 tackles, 10 TFLs, 4 sacks, 1 forced fumble.
Senior:  NG. 66 tackles, 4 sacks, 1 forced fumble (played first 1/2 of the season w/ an injured ankle).

Academically, I took my SAT's for the first time last Spring scoring 1220 on the two part and I am scheduled to take it again this December.  I am currently ranked in the top 15% of my class with a weighted GPA of 4.2 out of 5 and an unweighted GPA of 3.65 out of 4.

I am seeking a school that has good core atheletic and academic values that will help prepare me for the future.
