Hi my name is Garrett Kurz and at the age of four my parents put me in martial arts where I trained 6 days a week and competed nationally. I earned my black belt just before my 11th birthday. Along with training in Martial Arts I was introduced at the young age of 5 to the great sport of football and from the moment I stepped on the field I fell in love. I see myself as a leader and a coach on the field . I lead by example and growing up my coach would always ask me whats going on in the trenches, whats the defense giving us, what play should we run. They instilled a lot of trust in me and I take a lot of pride in that. I have a very protective instinct when I am playing football. My high school academic goals are to graduate at the top of my class. I am planning to take college classes my junior and senior years so when I graduate I will already have over a year of college credits. In college I want to study Pre-Med and then get my masters. Then I want to attend Medical School. I describe myself as a fighter.I have battled for every position I have ever gotten. I believe nothing is handed to you and if you want something bad enough you will work as hard as you can to get. I am a firm believer that Champions are made in the off season, and thats when you work to take what you want in life.
