In my opinion, participating in sports and other physical activities helps mold a person by ingraining in them virtues that will benefit them later in life. Being an elite cheerleader has shaped who I am, in my opinion. Cheerleading has had a profoundly positive influence on my life because it has taught me the value of perseverance, hard work, and teamwork qualities that are essential for success in cheerleading and in many other factors of life.I've gained the abilities from cheerleading that will help me succeed in college and in the real world as an athlete, student, and person. The most valuable thing I took away from cheerleading was how to work as a team. I know how to support a teammate when they're feeling low, how to listen to my teammates and offer constructive criticism when needed, and how to collaborate with forty other girls to display our best qualities as a group.
