Kanaan Brock '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kanaan Blake Brock. I live in Rutherfordton, NC and I am 16 years old. I have played 3 to 4 sports since I was 5 years old. My passion is football and baseball. My goal is to play for a Division 1A school and my dream, of course is to play in the NFL. Although, I know there is only a 1.8 percent chance of that happening, nonetheless, that will not keep me from continuing to work hard in the classroom and on the field. I am currently a sophomore at RS Central High School. I played on the JR Varisity and Varisity football team my freshman year and as a Sophomore I played as a starter on Varsity both ways, offensive and defense line and some as the Center under a Senior. I finished my sophomore season a few months ago and I have realized just how fast the season flew by. This is why I am determined to work has hard as I can with my coaches, teachers, and my recruiter so that I will be ready before I graduate HS. I am still learning everyday and I know how important it is to stay active and be committed to being in the weight room during off-season and building a close relationship with colleges coaching staff and college Administration. I am very blessed to have parents who support me in everything I do. They have always encouraged me to work hard and make good grades. I do realize now that it is up to me to make my dreams come true and to meet specific goals that I have planned for my life. Like I said before I have a lot to learn but I have a willingness and a desire to be better than my best. I am thankful to my Savior who has blessed me with the gifts and talents HE has and although I have dreams, my dreams and goals will only come true and be reached if it is HIS will and if I am willing to do all that it takes to get where I need to be. To all who are reading this, thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better. I appreciate the opportunity of being a part of a great organization such as NCSA.
