First and for most, I believe that my academics should come before athletics. I'm a "STUDENT" Athlete. School always comes first with whatever I am doing, not just football. My academics are my number-one priority; and I will do my best to make sure they fit the standards of the Universities that I want to attend in my College career.
With this in mind, I hope to reach my goal of playing Division I-A football after my senior year of high school. Now in the meantime, I am doing whatever I can to become the best athlete possible in the off season, and putting in extra work after practices. I don't believe in short-cuts. I believe in hard work and perseverance; those summer practices when I don't want to hit the field, but I do it anyway because I want to get better. Football is a mental sport, getting that extra rep is what makes you better on Friday nights. Whatever the outcome, whatever the score, whatever the school, I want to achieve my goal of being the best, knowing that I got there because I earned it myself. I don't want to just barely get by, I want to succeed and exceed my limits to make myself a better person as well.
