Clayton Green '23 Recruiting Profile

     My name is Clayton Green Jr, and I am a student- athlete. In college, I either want to pursue a degree in business, communications, or psychology while also playing football. I personally believe that being a good athlete transpires in the classroom and on the field. What separates me from other athletes is my mindset . My mindset is to be the best at whatever I do. This means that anything I want to accomplish, or any challenge that is given to me, I am going to give it my all no matter the circumstances. I also see every day as another opportunity to be better than the previous day.                     

     To add on, my mentality  also separates me from other athletes. I have a never quit mentality.  No matter how big or little the task at hand is, quitting is not an option for me. For example, If my team was down by 30 points going into the 4th quarter, in my mind, I still believe we have a chance to win, so I'm going to make sure my team does everything they can to win the game. My character also stands out. Above everything else, I am a leader. To me, being a leader means being a role model and a positive influence for my peers. Usually the leader has to put in more work and take more responsibilities. For me, this is exactly what I am made for.
