My name is David Nemeth. I will graduate in the class of 2022. I am a multi-sport athlete.
I play soccer as an attacking/defending midfielder and center back. I literarily started playing soccer as soon as I was able to walk and run. My whole family plays soccer and I "grew up" on the soccer field. My soccer carrier started playing travel soccer and at age 6 I started playing club soccer. My Challenger Football Club team won the State Cup Championship in 2018. My High School Varsity soccer team won District Championship in the Fall of 2019. My favorite position is attacking and defending midfielder but I also play center back. I will be team captain in my Senior year.
My passion to kick the ball took me on another adventure. In eighth grade, I signed up to be the Kicker/Punter of the middle school football team. In my freshman year, following my older brother's footsteps who was the Varsity football kicker at that time, I became the Kicker/Punter of the JV football team. I got some playtime on the Varsity football team as well. In my Sophomore, and Junior years I played as a Kicker/Punter on the Varsity team. My longest in-game Field goal is 42 yards.
I average 60+ yards on kickoffs, 50+ yards FG range, and driving punts close to 50 yards with 4.5+ second hang times.
I have also been playing basketball as a Forward. In my Freshman year, I played on the Freshman and JV teams. Our Freshman team finished the season undefeated in and out of conference games as well. I earned the Defensive Player of the year award. In my Sophomore year, I played on the JV and Varsity teams as well. In my Junior year, I played on the Varsity team and earned the Defensive Player of the Year team award.
I also play AAU basketball on Mac Basketball in Cleveland, OH.
I love all three of these sports and my dream is to become a college athlete. I know that everything is possible with hard work and stamina. I know that it's equally important to do my best in the classroom and during my athletic training. I listen to my teachers and my coaches because their guidance will help me get better and make it possible to reach my goals in the future.
