My name is David Nemeth, I will graduate in the class of 2022. I am a multi-sport athlete.
I have started playing basketball in 8th grade as a center.
In my Freshman year, I played on the Freshman and JV teams. Our Freshman team finished the season undefeated in and out of conference games as well. I earned the Defensive Player of the Year team award.
I played on the Varsity and JV teams in my Sophomore year. Our Varsity team won the Conference Championship.
In my Junior year, I played as a Forward on the Varsity team and earned the Defensive Player of the Year team award.
I play AAU basketball at Mac Basketball in Cleveland, OH.
I play soccer as an attacking/defending midfielder and center-back. I literarily started playing soccer as soon as I was able to walk and run. My whole family plays soccer and I "grew up" on the soccer field. My soccer carrier started playing travel soccer and at age 6 I started playing club soccer. My Challenger Football Club team won State Championship in 2018. My favorite position is attacking and defending midfielder but I also play center back. In my Senior season, I will be team captain.
My passion to kick the ball took me on another adventure. In eighth grade, I signed up to be the Kicker/Punter of the middle school football team. In my freshman year, following my older brother's footsteps who was the Varsity Football kicker, I became the Kicker/Punter of the JV Football team and I got some playtime on the Varsity Football team as well.
In my Sophomore, Junior years, I played on the Varsity Football team as a Kicker and Punter. My longest in-game Field Goal is 42 yards.
I average 60+ yards on kickoffs, 50+ yards FG range, and driving punts close to 50 yards with 4.5+ second hang times.
I love all three of these sports and my dream is to become a college athlete. I know that everything is possible with hard work and stamina. I know that it's equally important to do my best in the classroom and during my athletic training. I listen to my teachers and my coaches because their guidance will help me get better and make it possible to reach my goals in the future.
