I am Andrew Smith, and I am from Mentor, Ohio. I play football at Mentor High School. I am mainly a kicker, as last season I did kickoffs for my team as well as field goals; but I have some field goal film from my junior season with a Hudl link listed at the end of the statement.
My longest field goal made is a 60 yarder, and will begin to expand further. I have made two 44 yard field goals in my recent varsity season, one of those being in a State Quarterfinal game. I am Class of 2021 with a cumulative 3.214 GPA, and an average of a 3.78 GPA for my junior year. I am a Kohl’s 5 star rated kicker, #1 ranked in Ohio, and also 18th overall in the nation. I was invited to Kohl’s 2020 National Scholarship Camp where I competed from July 18th to the 19th in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. I went 30/30 on all of my field goals including 6/6 from 59 yards, which placed me #1 at the camp out of about 800 of the nations best kickers. I also scored an average score of 106.97 on my kickoffs with consistently putting the ball 68+ yards, 75 being my longest with no wind. Following that, against the wind, I consistently put the ball around 60 yards in the end zone with over 4 seconds of hang time on all of my kicks. (64 being my longest for a session against the wind). I am more than interested in playing football in college and interested in learning more about your program and school as well. There is a link to my Kohl’s Profile which includes one of my Kohl’s sessions from June also listed at the end of the statement. My kicking coach is the current Cleveland Browns kicker, Austin Seibert.
