My name is Connor Larick and I will graduate from Mentor High School in 2022 - currently ranked 5th in my class out of 685 students. My goal is to play collegiate soccer with a highly competitive program. Ideally, I would like to be involved with a soccer team where I would make a big contribution early in my career.
As a goalkeeper I believe I stand out from everyone else not only because of my intense game performance, but because of my work ethic and drive on and off the field. On the field, I am a leader through example. I work hard at practice and encourage others to do the same. During games I fight hard to keep my team in the game leaving my all on the field. I am a good communicator and my teammates look to me during games to guide them on the field from the goal box. Off the field I bring the same work ethics to the classroom as seen with my 4.3 GPA. I work hard every day to match my efforts on and off the field.
My ideal school would be a medium-sized school with a great academics program as well as an exceptional soccer program. While in college, I would like to pursue my athletic goals while still striving toward my academic aspirations leading me to a science-related major. Ultimately, I want the best fit for myself in a school where I can continue to succeed on and off the field while contributing to my school community and making an impact on my soccer team.
